Dr. Krantsevich-Riehl (Dr. Kate) grew up is a licensed naturopathic physician who started working at Sina since the beginning of 2021. She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to working with you on your individual goals of health and wellness along with disease treatment/prevention. The goal for her patients is not to merely survive their day to day life but to thrive and live their best, pain free life. You don’t have to be living with debilitating pain, fatigue, insomnia, etc. Whatever your health concern may be, together, she can help to optimize your health! Acupuncture

Acupuncture can treat many ailments and help to naturally optimize your overall health. Originating in China over 3000 years ago, Acupuncture is an ancient treatment where very thin needles are inserted into the skin at certain parts of the body in order to stimulate points that are thought to connect internal organs to the surface of the body. This coupling of connective tissue with a needle produces a mechanical signal, which can, in turn, create a biochemical signal that leads to a number of effects, including nervous system pathway activation, gene expression changes, modification of extracellular matrix composition, and protein synthesis.

Botox injections

Neuromodulators have been used for many years to decrease and prevent fine lines and wrinkle formation. Botox injections is a very safe treatment with very little downtime or side effects with results being seen at 3-14 days after treatment. Neuromodulators are also used for effective treatment of tension headaches, migraines, TMJ, and hyperhidrosis.

IV Nutrient Therapy

Dr. Kate offers a wide range of IV nutrient cocktails including high dose and highly absorbable forms of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, glutathione, etc.

IV Therapy is a great option treatment for the following patients: patients with a chronic illness, patients with gastrointestinal disorders patients with migraines, patients with chronic infections, patients with chronic stress & fatigue, athletes or people who just want to feel their best.

Micro-needling with Medical grade MicroPen with Hyaluronic Acid Serum, which further increases collagen production and cell regeneration. Great procedure for fine lines/wrinkles/scars.

PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) - Facials & Hair Restoration

Platelet Rich Fibrin-PRF (similar to Platelet Rich Plasma-PRP) is derived by taking the patients’ blood, spinning and isolating the plasma and fibrin which is rich in platelets. Platelets are blood cells known for their role in healing. Once platelets are delivered to the area being treated, they break down and release growth factors, which are compounds that help cells repair and renew. Platelet Rich Fibrin is derived in a similar fashion to PRP; however, it is spun at slower rate in the specific PRF centrifuge. PRF actually contains 10x more platelets, more growth factors and nutrients than PRP. It is more concentrated and effective, which will give you better and faster results. PRF also contains vitamins, nutrients, white blood cells, and growth factors. This restores skins elasticity, luster, improves collagen production, minimizes fine lines, wrinkles and scars, and adds fullness and youthful glow to the face. PRF is also useful for hair restoration, treating enlarged pores, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, and dark under eye circles.

PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) Injections for Joints

This procedure is a regenerative injection therapy which has similar methodology as Prolo therapy; however, it uses your own platelets and fibrin to regenerate and heal the joint. It is done by having your blood drawn and having the platelets and fibrin isolated. This is then injected into the affected joint. PRF/PRP can work great for any type of injury, but it works better than Prolo for meniscal and labral tears. This is because cartilage doesn’t have much blood supply which would result in less healing factors delivered to that area vs more vascularized areas of the body. With PRF/PRP, the growth factors and platelets are delivered right to the injured area. PRF/PRP also can be beneficial with patient with OA and RA.

Prolotherapy Injections

This is a regenerative injection therapy which involves injection of dextrose (a type of sugar) and procaine solution into injured/damaged tissues such as ligaments, tendons, joint spaces or along a nerve pathway. This causes slight irritation in the joint which in turn brings immune cells to the area to facilitate healing of the tissue, decrease inflammation and strengthen injured tissue to restore function.

Neural Therapy (Trigger Point Injections)

With neural therapy, trigger points are injected with procaine (an anesthetic) which can loosen up the muscle knot and give long lasting pain relief. Both injection therapies work great for chronic joint pain due to new and old injuries, scars, laxed ligaments, Osteoarthritis, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. For best results it is usually required 3-6 treatments with PRF or Prolo therapy to see clinical results.
