Suggested use
Adults: one capsule between lunch and dinner, plus one at bedtime, on an empty stomach, unless your health care practitioner directs otherwise.
Cautions and contraindications
- Do not use during pregnancy, with scleroderma, acute stomach irritation or inflammation, stomach or duodenal ulcers, or an allergy to the Asteraceae/Compositae (daisy) family.
- Before use, consult a health care practitioner if breastfeeding, if you have gallstones, or if taking carbidopa or medicines or supplements with serotonergic activity.
- Stop use and consult a practitioner for weakness, mouth ulcers, or abdominal pain together with severe muscle pain.
- Possible effects include headache, sleepiness, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Vita Aid advises reducing the dose if these occur to lessen them.
