Product Info
Innovite’s Licorice formula is designed to help soothe the stomach and relieve discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract.
Glycyrrhiza glabra, commonly known as licorice, has a rich history in herbal medicine. Traditional usage shows its ability to protect the mucous membranes and lining of our digestive tract by increasing production of a protein called mucin. Mucins help to decrease adverse effects of high stomach acid and various other harmful substances. Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastritis in adults.
- Traditionally used to soothe gastrointestinal issues, digestive upset and gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining)
- Increased mucin production may help to protect the digestive tract against pathogens such as Candida albicans and H.pylori
